1. Who We Are
Tabee ("Tabee", "we", "our", or "us") provides a mobile application that includes authentication, user profiles, messaging, notifications, and optional VIP subscriptions. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the app.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the information needed to operate the app, keep it secure, and improve it.
2.1 You Provide
- Account information from sign-in providers (Google or Apple), such as your name, email address, and profile photo.
- Profile information you choose to add, such as username, bio, languages, interests, gender, and age group. When you enter a birth date, we store it as a timestamp and may derive your age group.
- Location details you choose to share (country, city). If you grant GPS permission, we may store approximate coordinates to power location features.
- Content you generate, such as messages and profile updates.
- Support requests and any information you include when you contact us.
2.2 Automatically Collected
- Device and app data such as device type, operating system, app version, and a hashed device identifier.
- Network data such as IP address and basic diagnostics to keep the service reliable and secure.
- Usage data such as actions in the app, timestamps, presence/last-seen signals, and notification delivery/open events.
- Push notification token (FCM token) used only to send you notifications.
- Crash and performance data to help fix issues (Firebase Crashlytics).
- Analytics events to understand feature usage (Firebase Analytics). You can limit analytics in your device settings.
2.3 From Third Parties
- Authentication providers (Google, Apple) share basic account data to sign you in.
- In-app purchase provider (RevenueCat) shares subscription status (e.g., active entitlement and expiry) to manage VIP features.
- Geocoding providers may help convert GPS coordinates into a city and country.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide and improve the app, including authentication, profiles, messaging, and notifications.
- Operate subscriptions and verify entitlement status for VIP features.
- Maintain safety, security, fraud prevention, and service integrity.
- Moderate content and enforce our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
- Communicate with you about important changes, security alerts, and support.
- Analyze usage to improve reliability and guide product decisions.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Bases (where applicable)
- Consent (for example, precise location and notifications).
- Contract (to provide the app you asked us to deliver).
- Legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse, improving the service).
- Legal obligations (complying with law and lawful requests).
5. Sharing and Transfers
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We share information with service providers only to operate the app: Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics), RevenueCat (IAP), and geocoding providers. These providers process data on our instructions.
- We may share information to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect users, or respond to lawful requests.
- Data may be processed and stored in countries outside your own. We use reasonable safeguards for cross-border transfers where required.
6. Retention
- Account and profile data are kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Purchase and subscription records are retained as needed for accounting and fraud prevention.
- Logs, analytics, and crash reports are kept for a limited period to operate and improve the service.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- You can view and update profile information in the app.
- You can request account deletion from settings where available or by contacting us.
- You can manage permissions (location, notifications) in your device settings.
- Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Children
The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest where supported by our providers, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide a notice in the app or by another appropriate method.

12. Account Deletion & Re-registration Safeguard
When you delete your account, we permanently remove your profile, content, connections, push tokens, analytics identifiers, and authentication links (Apple/Google). Associated cloud files are deleted, and residual backups are purged on their normal overwrite cycle.
To protect service integrity and prevent abusive re-registration, we retain only one minimal, pseudonymous value: a non-reversible, salted hash derived from Apple’s App Attest key identifier. This hash:
- is not linked to your Apple ID or other identifiers;
- is not shared, not used for advertising, and cannot identify you;
- is used solely to enforce a 14-day cool-down after voluntary deletion (longer only for serious policy abuse);
- auto-expires and is then purged.
Legal basis & CCPA disclosure. Processing is based on our legitimate interests in security and fraud prevention (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and falls under the security exception to deletion under the CCPA. We apply strict data minimization and retention limits.
Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel App Store / Google Play subscriptions. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the respective store settings.
